Who pays for massage therapy?

Massage Therapy is not covered by OHIP, however many private insurance companies cover treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist (sometimes a Doctor’s referral is required). Please check with your provider because each plan varies as to the amount that will be covered.  In any case you will be required to pay for each treatment and your insurance company would then reimburse you directly.
